Corinthia Hotels asked us to design the brand identity of all f&b outlets within their new hotel in Rome.
We designed logos as well as printed and digital collaterals.
Each asset feels unique,
but they all share a common language.
The three logos work cohesively together: each one is designed from different hidden elements of the historical palazzo, expressing a distinct story and material character.
Viride draws from the floral mosaics of the main suites; Piazzetta stems from the ornate wrought iron of secluded courtyards; Bar Ocra evokes a secret place blossoming behind the gated windows.
The Rose concept is inspired by the ornaments present on the main door and on the travertine corners of the main entrance of Corinthia Rome.
It has been designed to match the visual identity of the ceramics which will be used in the restaurant, which also come from mosaics present within one of the main suites.
Viride
The Rose.
The typography balances classical heritage (the Latin name, the Roman inspiration) with the clean legibility required of a modern restaurant.
The palette is rooted in nature, yet elevated to quiet luxury. Warm, organic, and sophisticated, it draws from Roman gardens, sun-worn materials, and the richness of the earth.

The logo, inspired by Rome’s ornate courtyard ironwork, acts as an elegant gateway to the hotel’s hidden centre. Its geometric symmetry recalls a historic piazza’s paving, while vine-like scrolls suggest a leafy retreat where nature and architecture meet. Continuous lines hint at the smooth passage of time and easy conversation, giving a sense of private yet welcoming sanctuary rooted in history and alive with nature.

The Secret Entrance
This concept is inspired by the ornaments present on the bar’s window grates.
It reminds one of the idea of a secret lock, a private place which requires a special key to access, like the old speak-easy, hidden and trivial.
